Welcome to Whiteline Television
Whiteline Television is an Australian independent broadcaster whose aim is the positive promotion of the Australian road transport industry. Located in the Australian capital city of Canberra, we travel all over to produce the videos our clients deserve.
Creative solutions to boost your valuable projects
We are a modern production company with ‘old school’ values dedicated to informing the community about sharing the road with heavy vehicles. We are passionate about stories from our industry to preserve them for future generations.
Whiteline Television is an independent broadcaster whose aim is the positive promotion of the Australian road transport industry. We are passionate about road safety for all road users and will present stories to promote a positive experience for everyone during their interactions on our roads.
When it comes to road transport, we have the experience and understanding to produce quality Corporate Videos for our industry.
We’re not just about transport.
We have worked on many major shows and shot in some amazing locations throughout Australia and indeed the world. Our experience comes from the early days of weddings through to martial arts instructional videos, event videos and then to broadcast television, news and program. Whether you have an OHS video you want to promote, you need to train or educate people or want to show the world who you are, we can help. If you’re going to stream that live event to your members, clients, or the world, we can do that too. We listen carefully to you to understand your needs and goals.
What we do
Program Production
Our experience within broadcast television has given us a strong program bent and this has shown with our program “Truck That”.
The career of our Executive Producer has been split between road transport and television production, therefore, it makes sense that we have a strong program bent. His formal training took place in the United Kingdom through the British Institute of videography and the BBC. In Australia, he worked as a freelancer across all television networks followed by a time as a production/commercial camera operator for a major network and subsequently the Australian federal government. This exposure to production across many genres afforded him the opportunity to finely hone his creative skills. Subsequently, Whitelines program, ‘Truck That’ with Industry advocate Rod Hannifey was a huge success garnering much discussion across the transport industry.

Ultra-Portable
Gone are the days when the video had to be of poor quality if
viewed on the web. All of our productions are shot and edited in 4K Ultra High Definition resolution, ensuring the best quality, even once rendered for web-based viewing.
Corporate Production
From induction videos to OHS compliance videos the team at Whiteline Television can turn your vision into a reality.
Coming from a background in broadcast programs and commercial production, we have the experience and understanding to produce quality Corporate Videos for any industry. Whether you have an OHS video you want to promote or you need to train or educate people or want to show the world who you are, we can help. If you want to stream that live event to your members, clients or the world, we can do that too. We listen carefully to you to understand your needs and goals offering our sound advice on how best we can achieve this together.
Chromakey
Our in-house studio has greenscreen capability to have your image on any background.
Chroma key involves filming actors and objects in front of a flat-screen of a single colour. This screen is usually blue or green, hence the chroma key is often referred to as a ‘blue screen’ or ‘green screen’ effect.
During editing, computer programs are used to remove and replace parts of the footage.
Remote Capable
Having spent many years touring with various shows, we have decided to invest heavily in a vehicle that will enable us to be self-sufficient in remote locations. Our Toyota Landcruiser build is coming along nicely and once finished will allow us to travel remote and maintain our equipment on outback shoots.
Our craft is storytelling, entertainment and technology. Our passion is quality video, road safety, and Australian road transport.

Our Team
Our team all have full-time jobs and come together to ensure our content is relevant and effective.
Stephen McCarthy
Executive Producer
Stephen has spent many years in the road transport and also the broadcast industries.
As a driver, which was his first love he cut his teeth through the early 80’s on the Hume Highway before moving over to running express services between Sydney and Perth and later between Adelaide and Darwin. This gave him the time to think about how the general public should be aware what it takes to carry this country. Thus in essence at least the idea of Whiteline Television was born all the way back then.
Bruce Dodds
Presenter/Driver Advocate
Bruce is the latest member to join our team and comes with many years of experience within the transport industry and driver support services. Aside from the obvious promotion of Road Safety, one of Bruce’s strongest passions is surrounding drivers’ mental health and wellbeing. Bruce has successfully advocated for drivers during several enterprise bargaining negotiations. Bruce knows the industry well and we are looking forward to his contributions going forward.
Sarah McCarthy
Operations Manager/Presenter
Sarah works full time in the Australian Public Service and assists with the day to day running of the business whenever she can. Sarah also ensures that everyone gets paid.
Rod Hannifey
Road safety Advocate/Presenter
We first teamed up with Rod in 2016 and continue to support him in his advocacy for the Industry. Rod has worked tirelessly to promote road safety awareness and sharing the road with the general public. Appearing on regular radio shows and representing drivers and operators at many forums, Rod’s passion for the industry is unquestionable.
